Historical weapon exhibit set to open in Oman

Muscat: A new exhibit featuring a collection of historic weapons from Oman and other parts of the world will open this evening.

The Bait Al Radeeda arms exhibition will be held in Birkat Al Mouz, and is open to the public from Sundays to Wednesdays, as part of its first phase of operations.
A statement from the Ministry of Tourism said, “From Wednesday, April 3, 2019, ‘Bait Al-Radeeda Light Arms Exhibition’ will be open in the first phase from Wednesday to Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm.

“The ‘House of Light Weapons’ exhibition contains rare collection of Omani and international weapons. The galleries and rooms are equipped to display weapons and collectibles according to the latest techniques of museum display,” added the statement.

The price of entry tickets for foreigners is OMR 7, while Omanis and GCC nationals need to pay OMR 3.5. Entry is free for children under 12 years.
