Muscat: The state-of-the-art lounge that offers ultimate comfort round the clock at the Muscat International Airport has smashed its projected target and welcomed 350,000 travellers in its first year of business.

Primeclass Lounge has been operated since March 2018 by TAV Operation Services, who host over 2.5 million passengers per annum at various airports worldwide.

It offers incredible comfort with facilities including a gaming zone, cinema, private suites, family rooms, prayer area, meeting rooms, kid’s play area, shower facilities, restrooms, spa, private massage rooms, relaxing zone, baggage storage, and smoking area.

The lounge, spread over an area of 3,050 square meters has a seating capacity of 400 people and meets the needs of more than 1,000 passengers on a daily basis.

The lounge is split into three zones, each with its own distinctive features like entertainment and relaxation, family rooms and suites and meeting rooms.

There are six units of family rooms that can easily accommodate six to seven people travelling together who require privacy. Meeting rooms are highly equipped to host formal gatherings and can accommodate up to 25 people.

A popular feature is the silent cinema where members can enjoy the movies that are played throughout the day without causing disturbance to others as the sound is relayed to wireless headphones rather than over a sound system.

Access to the Primeclass lounge is free to passengers flying business class of any airline and to the members of other loyalty cards. The lounge also welcomes TAV Passport, participating airlines, private banks and corporate institutions’ cardholders and the users of LOUNGEME application.

In addition to the services of the lounge, TAV Operations also offer services like meet and assist, fast track, porter and prime valet parking, all adding to a seamless travel experience for passengers at the Muscat International Airport.
